Following the government’s announcement, we can now confirm that we will be re-opening in some capacity on Monday 8th June to provide face-to-face dental care.
Initially we will be prioritising those patients who have contacted us during lockdown and then those who have treatment outstanding. If you fall into either of those categories, we will be in touch over the next couple of weeks to arrange a review appointment.
We do not know at this stage, how much treatment we will be able to perform, as this will depend on the availability of the correct PPE, plus the implementation of any guidelines that are put in place, to make our return to work as safe as possible for Following the government’s announcement last week, we can now confirm that we will be re-opening in some capacity on Monday 8th June to provide face-to-face dental care.

staff and patients.
As we are sure you can appreciate the practice will be following a new attendance policy in line with current guidance, therefore we will be able to see far fewer patients on a daily basis, so please bear with us.
We will be operating a CLOSED DOOR POLICY at all times. This means that if you attend the practice without a PRE-BOOKED APPOINTMENT, you will be asked to leave. This is for everyone’s safety, so that we can minimise the risk of social interaction and maintain social distancing at all times, where possible.
When you call the practice to make an appointment, you will be triaged and risk assessed by a member of staff. You will then be assigned to a risk group. Your level of perceived risk, will determine whether we are able to offer you a face to face appointment with us, or not. If it is deemed inappropriate for you to be seen here, we may need to refer you on to an Urgent Dental Clinic, where you may be able to have your treatment carried out. If we are able to offer you a face to face appointment you will be asked to sign the current state of health questionnaire, that was carried out on the telephone, when you attend your appointment. (you can read a copy of the questionnaire via the link below)
On arrival, you will be asked to wash your hands and carry out any necessary paperwork. If you pay for your treatment then contactless payment would be appreciated if possible. Any follow-up appointments will be made in surgery to minimise contact with reception.
If you are a patient in a vulnerable group, are self-isolating, or are shielding at present, you should continue to do so, but please contact us for advice if you have a dental problem.
We will in due course, be in touch with all our patients who require their regular examination.
In the meantime thank you all for your continued patience and support.
